Ambitious small business hopeful

My husband is a talented graphic designer and wants to have his own business. But, to make his dreams come true he will need $80,000 to start.  Needs money for renting a space in plaza, machinary, and material.  He has been doing this field for 10 years and is a dedicated worker. He has a detailed business plan and is ready to go as soon as we have money to start it.  Any contribution will help. Thank you.

I hate to tell you this but most people that have wanted to start their own graphic design business started in their homes with a lot less money! Why can't the business be started small and then be allowed to grow? If you are set on looking for a grant program relating to starting one's own business there are a few that offer $100,000 grant awards. But remember you have to apply for these grant programs. Your application will be reviewed along with the other applications that have been submitted so make sure that your business plan is a good one.
